Our registered dietitians offer professional nutrition consultation in these areas:

Introducing Solids

Everyone seems to have a different opinion and advice about how to introduce solids, including your doctor, pediatrician, parents, parents-in-law, your friends – even complete strangers.

As a registered dietitian specifically trained in pediatric nutrition and a mother myself, I can guide YOU to make the informed decisions for your family right from the beginning!

Picky Eating

Is meal time becoming really stressful for both you and your child?

Are you having feeding challenges with your child?

Are you worried that your child is not getting the nutrition he needs because he is barely eating ANYTHING?

Is your baby still only eating pureed foods at 12 months or just surviving on milk?

Is your child coming to the table crying, throwing tantrums, negotiating and demanding for something else to eat?

These challenges should be addressed as early as possible so that they don’t become a routine and habit for your child. If you’re feeling stressed at all with feeding your little one(s), get help right away to turn the situation around and finally be able to enjoy family mealtime again!

Food Allergy & Intolerance

Have you or your baby been diagnosed with food allergies or intolerances?

Are you or your baby suffering from reactions and symptoms that may be related to food allergies and/or food sensitivities?

Have you or your baby been dealing with gut issues and symptoms without much directions?

Are you wondering when and how to reintroduce foods back into the diet?

Do you feel lost and overwhelmed with all the dietary restrictions and don’t know what you can eat anymore?

As an allergy dietitian, I can help you gain clarity and evidence-based information in the confusing and ever-changing world of food allergies and intolerance.  I can help you navigate the health system to get a clear diagnosis and treatment plan, find alternative foods that will meet you or your child’s nutrition needs, and guide you through the reintroduction process (if and when it’s deemed safe).

Hey there! I’m Amy…

I have been practicing as a Registered Dietitian in BC, Canada for over 10 years since completing my training at McGill University.  I work with families on introducing solids, managing picky eating, gain clarity around food allergies and/or intolerance, resolving digestive symptoms, as well as supporting eating disorder recovery.  I support teens and adults on gut health issues, eating disorders and disordered eating.

I’ve worked as a clinical dietitian at Woodstone Residence (Looking Glass Residence), BC’s first publicly funded residential treatment program for eating disorders and a dietitian for the Fraser Health Eating Disorders Program.

I was a pediatric and allergy dietitian at HealthLink BC (8-1-1) in the specialized nutrition service and a clinical dietitian at BC Children’s Hospital. I am a SOS trained feeding therapist. Most importantly, I am a mom of a 7 year old who is constantly testing boundaries and helped me gain a lot of real life perspectives!

I am passionate about inspiring families to feel confident about nutrition and bringing joy back into eating. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and most of my free time in the kitchen trying out a new recipe with my little one!

Hey there! I’m Lillian…

Born in Taiwan and raised in BC, I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from McGill University. I have a strong understanding in the role in which food plays in our lives, from farm to table and from hunger to emotions and cravings.

I have a profound interest in different cultures and ethnic foods. I have experience working as a clinical dietitian supporting people living with various disease states and illnesses such as diabetes and heart health.  I also support clients throughout and after their pregnancy.

My curiosity to understand food, its connection to health and science behind it drives me as a nutrition and health expert. Beyond that, it is the relationships I build when guiding people to embrace a self-compassion approach to healthier living.  I always puts the client first, supporting you to reach your health goals in manageable bite-sized approaches.  As an advocate for food and the potential it has to heal, prevent illness, fuel and bring people together, I would honoured to be invited into your journey in healthfulness.
